Tempeh Veggie Burger with Pumpkin seeds and Almonds (vegan, gf)
These vegan tempeh burgers are incredible, the almonds & pumpkin seeds give them a nice crunchy texture, and you don’t even need a food processor in order to make them. Just a knife, a wok and your hands, that’s all!

  1. Sautee mushrooms and onions in a wok or regular pan for 5-6 min.
  2. Add the tempeh to the wok, let cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix everything well.
  4. Put in a bowl and let cool down a bit. Then once possible, use your hands to mash until you get a smooth consistency, then form the burger patties.
  5. Fry the burger patties in a wok with a few drops of oil.

Serve with potato fries, or in a burger with hummus, lettuce, slice of plantbased cheese, ketchup and other toppings as per your choice.
