Get your next cup coffee a sweet companionThis Chocolate Peanut Butter Mugcake with Banana is the perfect treat when you’re craving something sweet. Oh that even rhymes! So this must be a good idea!
A healthy treatYou do only need 7 ingredients for this Chocolate Peanut Butter Mugcake with Banana, and you have probably all of them already in your kitchen. This Mugcake is completely oil-free and still tastes amazing. And of course it’s totally vegan as no eggs nor any dairy nor butter are used. I discovered mugcakes recently and I have to say I almost got a little addicted. They are so easy and quick to make and you can usually swap and exchange ingredients as per your gusto, or whatever you have available and they do still turn out delicious. For this mugcake for example you can swap the peanut butter for any other nut butter you have or you like most.
Pimp your mugcakeAdd a scoop of ice cream on top of this mugcake when it comes out of the microwave and you get a super yummy dessert. Or add some more chocolate sauce on top and sprinkle with hemp seeds or as I did with some dessicated coconut, the possibilities are endless.
Eat one, keep the otherThis recipe is for two standard mugs, I use the ones from IKEA. I then usually eat one straight away and keep the other one in the fridge for the next day. They are still good, also one day later. The combination with coffee or a cup of tea is amazing, and as I said, as they are oil-free I don’t even feel too bad about it. It’s basically just a bit of flour, banana and a good dollop of peanut butter, nothing wrong with that! And definitively better than any store-bought cookie or cake with the nasty ingredients in it.
